A small Chapel at Pafos, Cyprus.
Designed by Michail Georgiou.
In spite of being inspired by local orthodox ecclesiastical architecture, it has a contemporary style, as we can see in the use of concrete at the walls and the steel structural frames, but on the other hand it is constructed by Ferroment, a material used in the 60´s.
I find the shape really innovative, which remember me to a piano and i find really clever and interesting the way to mix old and new materials. The result in my opinion is terrific.
